SideBike's Zeus
At the end of 1999, SideBike intoduced Zeus. This photo was shot in Paris at the show "Mondial Du Deux Roues". Behind the sidecar and the right mirror I'm looking at the high tech made by SideBike.
Zeus, car engine in the trunk
The threewheeler is powered by a Peugeot EW10 car engine witch is located in the "trunk". 1997 cc, 4 cilinders, 137 hp.
Zeus left side
The front and the rear wheel is steering, it is 2wd (the sidecar and rear wheel). There are three pedals, brake, gas and clutch just like most cars. With the red buttons on the steer you can switch the gear.
Zeus right side Zeus without tupperware
With and without tupperware.
Fred and his son sitting on the Zeus Testing the luggage trunk under the saddle
The Dutch SideBike dealer Wout Broer invited all Dutch SideBike owners for a little testride with the Zeus.
Zeus front Zeus back
The Zeus has a very strong engine, there is no problem to drive away in the second or third gear. The sound is not like a motorcycle, but like a car.
Me as sidecarpassenger From another side
I can sit in the sidecar with a helmet, but there is only a few space left between the helmet and the roof construction. WOW, this is a big window !
